The South Australian Department for Environment and Heritage has released for public comment the draft concept plan for the Morialta Rockclimbing Area, prepared by Epacris Environmental Consultants. The draft concept plan proposes to manage the site as an environmentally sustainable rock climbing and abseiling site for visitors with specialist skills and/or leadership. The plan makes recommendations for the overall management approach at the site, as well as providing recommendations for specific works in the more highly visited parts of the rock climbing area.
